Heather Baker

 

My name is Heather Baker and I live in Pittsboro, NC.  My husband, Bob, and I have three children.  My son, Stuart, is studying to be an elementary teacher (the best job in the world), my daughter, Liz, is selling Verizon phones to pay for massage therapy school, and my youngest son, Tristan is finishing up high school.

We moved here from New Hampshire in 2002 and have managed to cope with the warmer winters and the lack of snow somehow or the other! We all enjoy living in the south and being part of the friendly environment which we found here.

This will be my third year teaching first grade at Woods. I love teaching first grade and even more, I love teaching it at Woods.  The people with whom I work, the families I have contact with and the students I am privileged to teach have all been wonderful.
