2010 Testing
G10 Parents and Students:
On Tues March 9 all student in a G10 homeroom will take the NC Writing Test. We will begin promptly at 8:45 and test most of the morning. Please be sure that your child is well rested, fed and in attendance this morning. Thank you for your help!
End of Year Testing is fast approaching!
Parents of student in G3-12 please take a moment to download and review the Woods Testing calendar. Please be mindful of the days we are testing and refrain from making appointments, etc. during these days. As Woods has grown in size our volume of mandatory testing has increased. In order to keep testing days to a minimum and prevent disrupting our learning environment, we depend on your cooperation to have your children in school on the days we have scheduled testing. Make-up exams for those absent create a huge ripple effect, requiring us to pull teachers from classroom teaching to administer these makeup exams - so please help us avoid this disruption by cooperating with us.
Exams for the G3-8 are on May 24, 25, 26, 27
Exams for G8 (Algebra I) and G9-12 are on June 3- 10
Testing Proctors Needed
We also need proctor volunteers! NC requires that there be an additional adult in all rooms testing. Therefore, in order to give the End of Grade and End of Course exams we must have volunteers! Please keep an eye out in the near future asking for volunteers to help with testing. This is an easy way to help your school of choice comply with the State requirements!
