Homework

Written homework will be assigned roughly twice per chapter.  Reading assignments will also be assigned.  Students are responsible for completely their assignments on time and with their best effort.  Written assignments are graded on accuracy and point values vary based on number of questions assigned.  Programs/Projects may occassionally need to be finished outside of class. 

Late homework will be accepted for full credit (2) if the homework is late due to an absence.  Otherwise, late homework will receive a penalty of 10% per day late.  When absent, the student is responsible for finding out what homework was missed.  Students will have two days for every day absent to complete their missed work for full credit (2).  

Students and parents may access an online calendar at www.engrade.com/kirstinmorrison to view assignments (homework, programs, quizzes, and tests).  I will make every effort to post assignments by 4PM on the day it is assigned.  In the event that I have forgotten to post the assignment, please feel free to email me at kmorrison@woodscharter.org.  You may also choose to contact a peer.  I will also make every effort to ensure that the online gradebook is up-to-date at least once a week.
