Homework Policy

Homework Policy

Students are expected to practice their instrument(s) regularly outside of school in order to make good progress. Students in the Middle School will not be required to produce regular homework for Band. For those in the high school Jazz elective, there may be up to one assignment per week given as homework, in addition to one major assignment per quarter. Students are required to attend performances both during and outside of regular school hours, as this will be a main area of assessment for measuring performance skills.
