Homework

On Mondays-Thursdays your child will recieve a math review lesson to complete and a reading passage/story to read aloud to you, in addition to keeping up a daily reading log (with a goal of at least 15 minutes of reading a night).  At the end of each month please sign the reading log to acknowledge that the times read are accurate.  Also, there is a weekely list of spelling words to be learned. We practice the spelling list in class, but if you know that your child requires more practice at home, please help them.  Starting in September, students will also be given a weekely writing assignments.  Throughout the year there will be special projects that require your help at home, also.  I will let you know about these as they are assigned.  Contact me if you have any questions concerning any homework.  Thanks for all your assistance in helping your child become the very best student he or she can be!!
