Message from the Principal
Woods Charter School is an extraordinary place to grow and learn. It is a community devoted to academic excellence. Our community values knowledge, truth, beauty, wisdom, honor, compassion, and service. Our school is a place where dreams and high ideals matter. At Woods we have embarked on the 21st century journey with a spirit of adventure and a sense of fun!
Our school-wide theme this year is “Responsibility.” Using ideas from Dr. Marvin Marshall's Raise Responsibility System, we will be working with students throughout the year to encourage them to make “the right choices for the right reasons” in every situation they encounter. We value individualism at Woods, and we know that each individual, through his or her responsible decision-making in the classroom, in the hallway, on the field, and on stage, can have a huge impact on the the lives of others within our community and throughout the larger world outside our doors.
To website visitors, we thank you for spending time with us online. It is our hope that this website introduces you to “the Woods way.” Of course, nothing is quite the same as an actual visit to campus.
