My Beliefs About First Grade

My beliefs about first grade:

I believe that first grade is an extremely important year in the life of each child.

It is my desire to instill a love of learning in each child in my class.

I believe that each child is special and important in their own way and each one adds value to our class.

Each person should learn to love school and enjoy being in class. One of my rules is we have to smile in first grade....another is we are not ‘allowed' to get hurt.

Questions are a valuable tool of learning and there are no ‘silly' questions.

Kindness to others in our class is vital.  Kindness to all others everywhere is equally important. We should treat others the way we would like to be treated.

Respect is our key word.

If you have any problem I should be told immediately.
