  • This is a busy week as everyone settles in for the new school year…BUT… please take a minute to consider and sign up for the monthly grocery card program and THANK YOU to those of you who signed up during the orientation process! Please complete the attached sign up form by Friday, August 27th to start receiving your cards in September.

  • Go Green! Carpool!

  • Woods encourages families to consider carpooling and is facilitating carpool formation by building a database of interested families. This database can be used to cover carpooling for sports practices, busriders, etc. by including your needs in the morning and afternoon information blocks. To participate, fill out the short survey form found here: http://spreadsheets.google.com/viewform?formkey=dEx1OWlKNHE1SkRRMEdUT2Fxc2o4UGc6MQ. Contact information will be shared with participants in a few days, so please add your info ASAP!

  • 6th grade parents/guardians are required to submitt written proof of T-Dap immunization as soon as possible. If you have any questions, please contact Joan Gillis RN at jgillis@woodscharter.org.
  • Lunch Program

  • We will start this year’s lunch program on August 30th (the second week of school). The lunch menu can be found on the website in either Excel or pdf format. This month’s menu is attached to this newsletter along with instructions for filling out the form. Each lunch selection costs $4.00.
  • Milk Program

  • For $40 per year your child can receive milk (chocolate or white) at lunch each day. Please fill out the form found on the website or print out the attachment and return to school along with payment (payable to Woods Charter): The milk program will begin on August 30th. http://www.woodscharter.org/lunch-program/.

  • Homework club will be offered again this year for elementary grades. The location will be rooms 147 and 148 and the time is from 3-4. Please see the attached form for more information, fill out the bottom portion and return to Heather Baker or Elizabeth Crumb (1st grade teachers)
